Family Maths Challenge

For homework we have a family maths challenge.

This is what I had to figure out.


A boy had 24 cookies and he had to eat 3 on Sunday and the following days he had to eat 1 extra and I had to figure out what day he will run out of cookies.

The day he ran out of cookies was Thursday.

IN CLASS WE ARE LEARNING ABOUT PATTERNS.


TODAY THE CLASS DID SOME GROWING PATTERNS AND REPEATING PATTERNS.

A GROWING PATTERN GROWS IN NUMBERS OR SHRINKS IN NUMBERS.
THEY ARE ALSO KNOWN AS INCREASING PATTERNS AND DECREASING PATTERNS.

A REPEATING PATTERN REPEATS IT SELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

A DOG'S LIFE.

I AM READING A DOG'S LIFE.

I HAVE ONLY WANTED TO READ THIS BOOK BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT BUT AT THE END I THINK IT IS SAD.

IN THIS BOOK THERE IS A DOG CALLED SQUIRREL. SQUIRREL LOOKS LIKE A VERY NICE DOG.

I RATE THIS BOOK 10/10.

Myst

Today the class and I played Myst.

It is a really fun game because you go on a big adventure and the sound effects are great.


Some of the things i wrote about Myst today were

I wonder why there is royal purple in such a scary place.
Is that a bridge or stairs.
This music is very mysterious.

I think Myst is a great game and lots of fun.

JUDY MOODY

I AM READING JUDY MOODY DECLARES INDEPENDENCE.

SO FAR IT IS REALLY GOOD BECAUSE ALL OF THE CHARACTERS HAVE A PART IN THE STORY.

MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IS JUDY BECAUSE SHE WANTS INDEPENDENCE. BUT FOR JUDY TO GET INDEPENDENCE, TO NOT HAVE TO BRUSH HER HAIR OR MAKE HER BED, SHE HAS TO SHOW THAT SHE IS A RESPONSIBLE PERSON AND BY THE LOOKS OF THINGS SHE IS.

MY LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER IS JUDY'S LITTLE BROTHER STINK, BECAUSE HE IS SO ANNOYING!!

I THINK THIS IS A GREAT BOOK I RATE IT 10 OUT OF 10.

IN CLASS THIS TERM WE ARE DOING MYST. WE ARE DOING MYST TO IMPROVE OUR WRITING.

IN MYST ISLAND I CAN HERE THE WAVES CRASHING IT SOUNDS GREAT.
THAT FIRST BUILDING LOOKS LIKE A CHURCH.
