Myst Art

This term we have been doing art about the computer game, "Myst". We had to do a silhouette. A silhouette is a picture that is black, it is black because it is a shadow. I chose to do the spaceship that was on Myst Island on the side of my page. I did cogs on the edges of the page that I coloured in blue. And for the rest I did a collage with the Myst book in the middle. My collage was yellow, orange, pink and lots of other colours. Lots of people did things like the library on Myst Island and the Crystal Forest in Selenitic Age.

Everybody did really bright colourful drawings.

Remembrance Day

One the 11th of November it is Remembrance Day. On Remembrance Day we remember all of those who have fort and died for us in World War 1. World War 1 lasted for 4 years, from 1914-1918. It was called the Great War because almost every country was in the war. Alot of people where hurt or killed in the fighting that took place in Europe. In the spring time red Poppies grew on the Battlefields and around the soldiers graves. Now in remembrance of those soldiers we sell poppies. On the 11th month at 11:ooam we have a minutes silence to remember those who died.

Algebra

In class we were learning algebra. I know how to do algebra because my brother taught me how to do it. I think algebra is quiet easy because you just have to figure out what goes in the spot to make the answer correct.

Talent Show

On the 13th of November it was the school Talent Show. Lots of people did great acts such as Magic Tricks, Songs and heaps of other amazing things. The Talent Show went all afternoon and I had HEAPS of fun!!! My friends Katie, Kayla, Hallie and Taz did a play called The News At Five. It was really funny and they did really well.
The prizes were books and certificates. I would hate to be the judge because all of the dances and jokes were so good. I really enjoyed the Talent Show.
